By Cap works well for my use at the gun shows well worth the money for a small, compact unit Shop for good price, cause they vary widely for same unit.

Good little alarm for the gun showJun 29, 2011

I needed an alarm for guns at a gun show, and this fit the bill. It's apparently the only one made, so take it or leave it. Fortunately it works well. I like that it has dual alarm types (turns on when wires uplugged, off when they're plugged back in OR on when the wires unplug and STAYS on until key deactivation). I think it's a tad overpriced for what you get, but Amazon was cheapest and when you need it, you need it!
Dakota Alert Cable AlarmMay 04, 2012
By Dean Morgan Some of the local Gun Shows are now requiring security devices for firearms on sellers tables, and that's a good thing. I decided to go with the Dakota unit because of its low cost. The unit works well and is very useable, however the cables that come with it are very poor quality. One of my cables was defective out of the box. I recommend replacing the cables with better quality ones.
