Good source for newbiesJun 07, 2011
By RED I am not a book reader but I got this book for my wife and she loved it. If you like to do research online, you don't need this book. Most of the stuff in the book is available on internet.

Not quite enoughJan 30, 2011
By redamsly Keeping in mind that I had taken a property law class, the book wasn't very helpful. I was hoping for a checklist guide for each step of the process and a list of features that people tend to value in a house to serve as a starting point for my search. Overall, the book does a pretty good job of explaining the technical aspects of homebuying, but I would have liked for it to get more into home-selection basics.
